Toronto is Canada's largest city and its diversity of
nightlife reflects its size and charm.
The center of Toronto's entertainment district is the
John Richards area. Clubs off of Richards Street W and

Queen Street W is a thriving scene full of funky art
galleries, music venues and neighborhood bars and
cafes. This is the best area to find good live music
from local artists to national touring bands.
Comedy and theater are also popular entertainment
options in Toronto's Theater District and King West
neighborhood. Here you will also find fine art
galleries, symphony halls and martini bars.
Along Church Street is Toronto's gay district and
clubs here range from posh and sophisticated martini
bars to flamboyant drag show theaters.
University of Toronto students make the Annex a lively
neighborhood. Located on Bloor Street W between
Spadina and Bloor, the Annex bars and clubs are great
places to find cheap beer and students meandering the
streets from party to party.
Yorkville is Toronto's upscale neighborhood and bars
and restaurants here cater to fatter pocketbooks.
